Julia S I actually don't understand the bad reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well the narrative came together at the end. I enjoyed watching it and found the socially critical component particularly successful. I liked the detective best. Very good played. Belcher III was methodical , borderline frustrating but was , i felt the true star of the show. Cumberland is a top tier actor but he really didn't get far out of character has he has always been socially awkward. if you want 6 episodes of just straight "looking for the missing kid" watch Tracker but if you want some grit and side stories that gave you slice of NY in the 80's this is your show. Holds you through multiple ideas on who's to blame for the disappearing of a child and a love-and-hate relationship with all main characters. Ends timely before it stretches too much but with an unnecessary eloquent park scene that is not bad enough to spoil the whole experience but should be edited out.
