Thrilled to be returning to #ATS2024 tomorrow in San Diego.I am especially excited about the progress we’ve made in the past year at Strados Labs in helping the life sciences community collect data on respiratory symptoms that’s more objective than patient self-reports – I’m looking forward to hearing what others in the field are doing to innovate in respiratory health and to sharing updates on our work.If you’ll be at the event and would like to meet, please feel free to message me. You can also find me at #RIS2024 or in the exhibit hall at our booth (1131). #respiratory #COPD #Asthma #DigitalHealth #ClinicalTrials

Proud of my wife Gina Ranieri for earning this recognition for her patient satisfaction scores. Thanks to Mayo Clinic for recognizing the doctors who excel with #patientcare because it is the reason why they do what they do (and why we partners support it).

I was diagnosed with asthma when I was young and I struggled with frequent asthma attacks in my childhood, leading to scary and embarrassing doctor visits. It inspired me to find a way to help patients and doctors better track symptoms like wheeze and cough objectively to improve disease management and reduce ER visits. I am really excited to start this clinical trial of our RESP product to help bring our #wheeze and #cough technology to the pediatric asthma market. Let’s make every breath count!

As a patient I am often asked about my respiratory symptoms by doctors looking to assess if treatments are working effectively or if I am self-managing properly. I always struggle with these questions. Did my coughing get worse today than yesterday? How much worse? It is easy to ignore (or forget) cough as a symptom until things get really bad, and wheezing can be subtle before it’s auditory, but it doesn’t mean it’s not happening to you.I believe that knowledge helps patients become more informed and aware of their condition, so a world where we can objectively assess coughing and wheezing to support disease management excites me personally, and I’m proud of the work we have done at Strados to continue to make this a possibility. #makingeverybreathcount

As a former pediatric RSV patient, I could personally relate to this winter’s tripledemic and surging RSV hospitalizations, as well as the importance of leveraging remote patient monitoring (RPM) solutions to offer RSV patients an at-home care alternative. Please read my LinkedIn article on why monitoring lung sounds could make a difference in future winters, having the potential to reduce the strain placed on hospitals and improve patient quality of life. #rsv #hospitalization #remotepatientmonitoring #biosensor #auscultation
