i was on this ship 20 years ago, but the trip I just got off of was not the same experience. First of all, the room we had smelled musty, which was bad for my allergies. Our cabin steward did not leave the animal towels, which we looked forward to (not really a big deal). I really hated having to walk through the smokey casino to get to the Broadway theater every night...and that smoke seemed

This cruise started off bad and got worst. First we were delayed boarding due to norovirus outbreak on previous cruise. Then first 3 days they served most stuff in Windjammer with very low staff causing massive lines. We had room an interior. It was the absolute smallest room we have ever had. Bathroom/shower was so small my wife had to stand outside shower and put legs in just to shave. We

This will be mostly Negative, so heads up, if you don't want "some truth".From the beginning some stomach virus was on the ship, so we didn't leave until about 5:30 pm, they thought they'd clean up as best they could. By the 3rd day me and my wife caught that stomach bug. Honestly the ship isn't that clean especially our room, which we had to ask for it to be vacuumed the first day, House

If I could rate it a zero, I would. By day 2 we were ready to go home. When we first got into our stateroom it was absolutely filthy. Walls were beyond dirty, stuff all over the carpet, the couch my nine year old was going to be sleeping on had stains that I didn’t even want to know what they were from. The blankets had stains, and there was hair all over each of the beds which included the

Pluses + Good intinary + Ports are unique and don't typically see on 7 days trips+ Some of the entertainment staff were exceptional at there jobs+ Main dining room food was good but not great + No ferrying required at ports Minuses- Over priced for the money we paid - Ship is very old and rough condition. Not what we’ve been used to from RCCL

There’s been an overall decline in RCCL service since we started cruising with them almost 2 decades ago. From checkin, to room stewards, to food it’s just not the same. We’ve amassed quite a few points and now have a high loyalty status with RCCL, and that used to be worth something, but now you can buy most of what our two decades of sailing has earned if you buy the “key” program. Our loyalty

We decided to take this cruise after spending 4 days in Jerusalem and a trip to the Dead Sea. The old city is very awe inspiring and well worth visiting. The cruise left from Haifa which we reached by train, cheaply and efficiently even though the train was crowded and the ticket system not tourist friendly. We had read the reviews here of the ship so were prepared to be underwhelmed but it’s in

20 years ago for or honeymoon me and my wife went on a 7 day French and Italian rivieras on Royal Caribbean. On our 20th anniversary we decided to go back to the Caribbean. This time we went to Greece. When we arrived at the Haifa, Israel port we had to walk 2 miles going through the sign in process. Our room and room attendant was great! Our waiters at the fine dining was thoughtful and

It's a smaller ship so go with the right expectation or you will be disappointed. We have traveled with Royal Caribbean many times, therefore, we have experienced their level of entertainment, glamorous vessels, tasty food and overall professionalism. With the Rhapsody of the Sea being considered one of their older and smaller ships, you could definitely notice the quality discrepancy. Even with

The Windjammer was JAMMED with people. The poor staff at the doors were threatening to call security as people pushed passed their roped off doorways. Smokers convene at the entrance to the buffet so it is necessary to pass through a cloud of smoke to enter. Long lines to get on and off the ship, long embarkation process, near the end of which they force passengers through the entire length of a
