Whether it's classic, modern, rustic or whimsical, your stationery suite is a great opportunity to reflect the aesthetic you've always dreamed of and give guests a first impression of it. You can use your invitation design to create matching RVSP cards, envelopes and enclosures. And you can then extend that look to the rest of your wedding essentials, from ceremony programs to menus and even custom thank you cards. Or, you can mix and match colors and design elements from different pieces for a playful and expressive stationery suite. That all comes down to what you have planned. Itinerary cards are essential if you’re hosting multiple events. As for wedding programs, you may or may not need them depending on the actual ceremony. If your ceremony is on the shorter side, it won’t hurt to skip them. If there’ll be multiple components (prayers, blessings, songs, communion), we strongly suggest including them. Programs are especially handy at multicultural ceremonies and help any guests who are unfamiliar with the proceedings follow along.

It's generally recommended that you send wedding invitations at least 6-8 weeks before your big day. This will give guests plenty of time to mark their calendars and RSVP. However, if you're planning a destination wedding or need to accommodate for international guests, it's better to send out your invites around 3 months in advance. And because we know time-savers are like breaths of fresh air when planning a wedding, VistaPrint is happy to provide free recipient addressing when you add custom envelopes to your order. Just start your address list by entering your recipients one by one or use a previously uploaded list. You can also customize how you want your recipient's name(s) to appear on your envelopes. For example, if you're addressing another married couple, you can use "Mr." and "Mrs." followed by the husband's full name (i.e., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Anderson). Alternatively, you can list both first names individually (i.e., Mr. Paul Anderson and Mrs. Sharon Anderson). For unmarried couples, living together, list the full names together on one line. And for families, you can address all the members collectively (i.e., The Monroe Family) or include children's names below their parents. You'll be able to preview your addresses right on the envelopes as you go to ensure you don't miss anything.
