Understand how to legally structure a Non-Profit 501 (c)(3) Animal Rescue/Shelter Corporation and obtain and maintain tax-exempt status at a new CLE, "Forming the Perfect Non-Profit Animal Shelter" on April 12. The seminar will discuss issues that will likely arise with insurance coverage and potential lawsuits. It will also cover advocacy, specifically on promoting city/county lifesaving ordinances to keep pets in their homes that shelters should get their cities to adopt. 3.25 IL MCLE Credit. At World Animal Protection, we are so pleased that our film “The Thoughtful Pig” is up for a Smiley Charity Film Award. Will you take the time to vote for us? At World Animal Protection, we are proud to campaign to end factory farming, whose enormous carbon and cruelty footprint is inflicting horrendous suffering to billions of animals while simultaneously destroying our planet.Pigs are among the five most intelligent animals on the planet, alongside chimpanzees, dolphins and elephants. I know this first hand from my time volunteering at a sanctuary for animals rescued from factory farms. Spending time with these animals introduced me to a pig’s sense of fun. The sanctuary piglets loved to play chase. This meant chasing me around one way in a circle as a group, then turning around and chasing me back the other way. Persuading me to play football with them also gave them great entertainment. But most people never get to experience pigs’ personalities, their senses of humour, their energy and intelligence. The sheer scale of factory farming makes it hard for people to see beyond the numbers, and see these pigs as thinking, feeling animals. Our film "The Thoughtful Pig" aims to change this, by highlighting what we know about pigs’ intelligence and then delving into the life of a sow within the walls of a factory farm.If you agree that no animal should live their life in a factory farm, please vote for our film: https://lnkd.in/ddsnGF9K #Endfactoryfarming #foodsystemstransformation

So they are paying you in UK to kill your animals? Banned breed XL Bully , yes?? No? However you are paying incentives?? No, the government will not pay you to kill your animals. However, in the context of the recent ban on American bully XL dogs in the UK, the government is offering £200 compensation towards the costs of having a dog euthanized as part of the ban[1][3]. This is intended to incentivize owners to have their dogs euthanized rather than rehomed or abandoned, as it will soon be illegal to own an American bully XL without an exemption[3].Sources[1] American bully XL: Charity offers cash to neuter dogs before ban - BBC News https://lnkd.in/dAcS9Jaz[2] XL bully dogs to be banned from end of this year | UK News https://lnkd.in/dA5T2XsB[3] Coverage of XL Bully announcement - Defra in the media - GOV.UK blogs https://lnkd.in/d7gAVyfH[4] XL Bully type dogs to be banned - GOV.UK https://lnkd.in/dYsVynBA[5] Healthy dogs may be put down after American bully XL ban, dog charity warns - BBC News https://lnkd.in/dHMZwuQg[6] UK government urged to tackle 'killer' XL bully dogs - Phys.org https://lnkd.in/dj2KBu52

When feds bust dogfighters, they're charged with "conspiracy." The ASPCA, the Humane Society of the United States and Best Friends Animal Society, which is a front for dogfighters, are all part of that conspiracy. Don't believe that? Here's just one example: National Dog Fighting Awareness Day is Monday, April 8. Last week, police/feds took 100+ pitbulls from eight New Jersey dogfighters, 78 pitbulls from Alabama dogfighter Carlton Adams and 73 pitbulls from California dogfighter Jorge Ayala's property. New Jersey dogfighter Bruce Low Jr. and his family/friends had been investigated since "late 2021," per 6abc-dot-com;Alabama dogfighter Carlton Adams had been investigated since September 2023, per AL-dot-com; andCalifornia dogfighter Jorge Ayala, whose "whereabouts are unknown," per NBC Bay Area, had been investigated since "early March." If you think it's a coincidence that feds decided to swoop in and rescue all these "poor, poor dogs" a few days before National Dog Fighting Awareness Day, please do not vote in the upcoming presidential election. Stay home. Smoke your weed. Eat your edibles. Drink your wine. Binge watch TV. Leave the heavy lifting to the rest of us.#animalcruelty #animalwelfare #animalrights#catsoflinkedin #kittenseason #catrescue #greed #gambling #corruption #nationaldogfightingawarenessday https://lnkd.in/gPs4x3u4
